With the iPod, iPhone, iPad, Mac computers, and Apple TV, Steve Jobs and company have cultivated one of the most passionate tech followings on the planet. iSource.com, a website dedicated to all-things Apple, is making holiday wishes come true with a dream job opportunity and a fun forum contest.
The website is currently seeking a full-time Apple Blogger to cover Apple-related news 40 hours a week. With the currently tough job market, one lucky applicant will land a full-time blogging job that includes working from home and covering their favorite gadgets.
"This is truly a great opportunity," said iSource Editor-in-Chief Patrick Jordan, "There aren't too many people who get paid to talk about the things they love."
According to Jordan, 100,000 people visit the website each month: "One of our passionate readers may end up getting paid to do something they already do for free ... discuss everything Apple-related."
Apple enthusiasts who aren't job hunting can be equally excited about the iSource Holiday Contest. Up for grabs are an 11-inch Macbook Air, 16GB iPad, 8GB iPhone 4, 16GB iPod Nano, Apple TV, and 24 iTunes Gift Cards.
"Just join the forums for free and start talking about your favorite Apple products," explained Jordan on what it takes to enter, "We're building a community of Apple fans that help each other enjoy their devices to the best of their ability."
Jordan says there are millions of happy consumers using Apple products, and many of them are eager to learn more about them. With a mix of news, editorial coverage, tips and how-to articles, and application, product, and accessory reviews, iSource aims to help readers get the most out of their Macs and iDevices.
The goal of iSource, Jordan says, is to build a vibrant community of both casual and power users. He hopes one of the power users will land their dream job and as for the $ 2,000+ in prizes? Everyone is eligible.
iSource.com was founded by Patrick Jordan in 2007, formerly named JustAnotheriPhoneBlog.com. The company recently acquired Mactropolis.com, founded by Apple-enthusiast James Falconer, and it will soon be integrated into the iSource brand. iSource.com is an independent news source dedicated to covering Apple related products and is no way affiliated with Apple Inc.
