On Tuesday, October 18, 2011, an excited crowd of invited guests, celebrities and even furry characters attended a red carpet premiere of the new DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq: DWA) film Puss In Boots starring Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Area. The movie tells the story of Puss in Boots the notorious fighter, lover and outlaw and his adventures with Kitty Softpaws.
The festive evening began with a celebratory VIP reception at the Gaylord Texan Resort with the movies big stars, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. Also in attendance of the Spanish-themed event (to honor Puss in Boots himself) the many invited guests and local celebrities were entertained by flamenco dancers and enjoyed Spanish-style music, food and drink.
Gaylord Entertainments Chairman and CEO, Colin V. Reed was also in attendance. Visitors to the Gaylord Texan will be able to watch this incredible movie right here in our own 3D theater in just a few weeks -- and also in our Gaylord Palms Resort, said Reed.
