Macadamian, a global leader in software product creation, today announced record revenue growth during its fiscal 2011 period. For the fiscal year ending September 30, 2011 the company achieved a 62% increase in revenue, capping seven quarters of successive growth.
This momentum confirms Macadamian as an Ottawa region success story and a global leader in software product strategy, design and development services. In particular, mobile applications have become central to the companys recent success building upon its depth in iOS and Android design.

Record revenue growth was matched in fiscal 2011 by an increase in global staff from 95 to 174 employees. This includes a doubling of staff in the Ottawa region where the company has been previously recognized as an Employer of Distinction as one of Ottawa's Top 10 best places to work. Since opening a new headquarters in Gatineau in February 2010, Macadamian has expanded into 3 additional buildings in the vicinity. The company also recently announced the opening of a new design and development office in San Mateo, California.
